On this 6th anniversary of the terrorist attack at Ft. Hood, we must not forget the victims and their families. Our brave men and women of the military stand for all this is good in this world. They put their lives on the line to protect and preserve our freedoms. On that frightful day 6 years ago, we lost 13 and of our brave soldiers, and many more were injured. We must never forget their sacrifice and the sacrifices by their families.

Washington, DC)- Today Rep. John R. Carter (R-TX-31) voted for H.R. 3762, the Restoring Americans' Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act. Under budget reconciliation, the bill will reduce the deficit by a net $78.9 billion by repealing a number of provisions and employer mandates in Obamacare, repealing the federal excise tax on medical devices and certain employer-provided health coverage plans, and by defunding Planned Parenthood.

(WASHINGTON, DC) –Rep. John R. Carter (R-TX-31) and Rep. Rodger Williams (R-TX-25) were notified that Fort Hood would be receiving $49.8 million for the renovation of the 1st Cavalry Headquarters. This follows their request to the Secretary of the Army to use Sustainment Renovation and Maintenance funds for this project.
