Carter Votes to Invest in Transportation Infrastructure, Jobs, and Economic Growth

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, Rep. John R. Carter (R-TX-31) voted in support of the FAST Act, the conference report for the highway bill that will improve our Nation's surface transportation infrastructure, including roads, bridges, transit systems, and rail transportation network. This bill, upon passage in the Senate, will go to the President to be signed into law.

“Central Texans are well aware of the importance of reliable transportation resources. Rep. Carter represents Texas District 31, which includes Fort Hood, the largest military installation in the free world.
