As part of Wednesday's visit, Carter toured the company's world-class shipment-monitoring center, met with employees and talked with executives about freight-related legislation. John Carter (R-Texas), Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee for Homeland Security, visited the world headquarters of FreightWatch International, a world leader in logistics security services that provides organizations with complete cargo security and supply chain visibility from origin to destination. As part of Wednesday’s visit, Carter toured the company’s world-class shipment-monitoring center, met with employees and talked with executives about freight-related legislation. In addition, the Congressman spent time in the company’s Command & Control Center, which provides around-the-clock cargo monitoring and emergency response services.
