Representative John Carter (TX-31) released the following statement after supporting $7.8 billion in emergency funding to address the Coronavirus. “This legislation will help state and local health departments respond to the Coronavirus, while expediting a vaccine, providing diagnostic testing, and purchasing much-needed medical supplies. Politics should never get in the way of protecting the health and safety of Americans, so I’m glad my colleagues and I on the Appropriations Committee were able to come to an agreement and expedite a clean bill to fight this virus.” # # # Rep.
