ROUND ROCK, T.X. – Congressman John Carter (R-TX31) is releasing the following statement on the resignation of Attorney General Eric Holder.

“Eric Holder undermined the rule of law by continually failing to enforce the laws on the books and prosecute law breakers. He has been a destructive leader and has had a devastating effect on the rule of law in this country, especially in Texas,” said Congressman John Carter. “I urge the President to nominate someone who will enforce the laws as they exist and enforce the laws as Congress passes them.”
