Carter Calls for Prayer for Victims of Connecticut School Shooting

(ROUND ROCK, TX)  - Americans should stop to pray for the victims of this morning’s tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut that has left 27 people dead including 18 children at last report.

“Folks in Central Texas are unfortunately all too familiar with this kind of senseless killing as a result of the massacre we suffered at Fort Hood in 2009,” says Carter.  “Anything we can think to do at this point for the families who have suffered so greatly seems trivial compared to their loss, but we can pray for all those impacted by this horrific event, and for a full recovery for those left injured.”
