Carter Statement on National Defense Authorization Act

Representative John Carter (TX-31) released the following statement after voting in favor of the fiscal year 2023 National Defense Authorization Act.
"Last night I was proud to vote for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The NDAA strengthens our military and provides much needed resources for our men and women in the Armed Forces, including a pay bonus and increase for enlisted service members, a housing allowance increase, and protection of service member parents' rights.
"The NDAA is a powerful tool that shows our adversaries our commitment to national security. By including investments in cutting-edge technology, military modernization, and weapons production, we are making sure that our military maintains readiness and is prepared to meet any threat and win."
