Carter Announces Grants for TX-31 Airports

Representative John Carter (TX-31) announced over $100,000 in Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) grants to TX-31 airports. These grants can be used towards operations, personnel, and resources to maintain the safety & functioning of these airports.
(Round Rock, TX)- Representative John Carter (TX-31) announced over $100,000 in Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) grants to TX-31 airports. These grants can be used towards operations, personnel, and resources to maintain the safety & functioning of these airports.
The CRRSAA grant amounts are as follows:
·      $13,000 for Skylark Field (Killeen)
·      $57,162 for Georgetown Municipal (Georgetown)
·      $23,000 for Draughon-Miller Central Texas (Temple)
·      $13,000 for Taylor Municipal (Taylor)
“The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted individuals, families, and businesses in ways we never expected, and our local airports are no exception,” said Rep. Carter. “I am hopeful that these grants will ease the burden and aid in recovery as we work towards the future.”
