Carter Announces 2021 Congressional Art Competition Winners

Representative John Carter (TX-31) announced the winners of the 2021 Congressional Art Competition at the annual awards ceremony held at Texas State University- Round Rock.

(Round Rock, TX)- Representative John Carter (TX-31) announced the winners of the 2021 Congressional Art Competition at the annual awards ceremony held at Texas State University- Round Rock.

“I am so proud of all of the students from TX-31 who submitted their artwork for the 2021 Congressional Art Competition," said Representative Carter. "With over 70 submissions, determining the winner was no easy task and it was clear that each submission had a lot of thought and hard work put into it.”

“With that being said, I am honored to announce that the winner of the 2021 Congressional Art Competition for TX-31 is Mehak Gaba, for her piece, Beauty of Confidence. Mehak, you should be so proud & I look forward to seeing your artwork in the United States Capitol for the next year.

“To every student who participated, you have demonstrated that our world has a bright and creative future ahead with you taking the lead. You have represented TX-31 very well.”
