Congressman John Carter (TX-31) announced the start of the TX-31 United States service academy nomination process today. “One of the many honors I have as the representative of Texas’ 31st Congressional District is nominating the best and brightest from Central Texas for an appointment to the military service academies. The desire to serve one’s country is commendable, and it is a privilege to work with these students as they complete the process for an appointment. I’m very proud of the TX-31 students that have received appointments through my office, and this year I look forward to continuing the tradition of nominating our rising stars,” Congressman Carter said.
