Carter Applauds Trump’s Call to Rebuild our Military

Today, Rep. John R. Carter (R-TX-31) released the following statement in regards to President Trump’s call to rebuild our armed forces.

“I applaud President Trump’s call to build up our military. For far too long, the previous Administration placed cuts on our military that led to, in many ways, the smallest military force since World War II. I have fought and will continue to fight for our soldiers and their families. I look forward to working with President Trump in our shared goal of strengthening our military and providing them the support and tools necessary to succeed in their mission: keeping America safe!”
