Carter to Push End to Income Tax and IRS in Tax Day Press Conference

The issue of fairness in the tax code should be settled by ensuring everyone pays the same rate with no deductions and no IRS through passage of the Fair Tax, HR 25, a national retail sales tax, according to House Republican Conference Secretary John Carter (TX-31).  Carter will join bill author Congressman Rob Woodall, Tuesday, April 17, at 11:00AM, along with other House and Senate members, the National Small Business Association, and theNational Taxpayers Union, in a press conference in front of the U.S. Capitol in support of shutting down the IRS and ending income tax.
