Members Fight EPA’s 54mpg Rules on House Floor Tonight
House Members are set to go to the floor tonight to fight the EPA scheme to hike new car prices by over $3000 per vehicle in 2025 with a 54 mpg federal mandate.
Led by House Republican Conference Secretary John Carter and Ohio Congressman Steve Austria, members will build the case on why Congress needs to overturn the EPA and Obama Administration attempt to override longstanding law authorizing NHTSA as the federal entity to set CAFE standards using commonsense criteria that include the impact on the economy.
