Congressional Outreach Set for Milam County

(CAMERON, TEXAS) – Milam County residents will have two chances to meet with representatives from the office of Congressman John Carter (R-Round Rock) locally in February as part of Congressman Carter’s latest scheduled Congressional Outreach sessions in Cameron and Rockdale.  

The program allows citizens to meet with staff from Carter’s office on federal issues without having to travel out of their home county, and rotates year-round through all communities in the eight-county 31st Congressional District. Citizens are encouraged to stop by to ask questions about any federal services or seek help in dealing with federal agencies, such as the Veterans Administration, IRS, or Social Security Administration.
