Washington, DC, May 24, 2007 - U.S. Representative John Carter (TX-31, Round Rock) is pleased to welcome Colby Nichols as an intern in his Washington, D.C. office this summer. Colby has lived in Centerville since birth. He is currently a rising senior at the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Belton where he is majoring in political science. “Colby has been a great addition to the office,” Congressman Carter said. “He has completed a variety of tasks in a timely and effective manner while keeping a positive attitude. I am pleased to have him in my Washington, DC office this summer.” His parents, Ronnie and Cathy, currently reside in Centerville. In addition to playing tennis for Mary-Hardin Baylor, Colby enjoys fishing, watching football, and hunting. He hopes to pursue a career in government and plans on going to law school to study contractual law. |
