U.S. Representative John Carter (TX-31) released the following statement after voting for the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2025. 

"America is facing increased global threats, and the men and women who defend the homeland deserve to be adequately supported. This year's NDAA focuses on improving quality of life while ensuring our service members have the resources they need to do their job effectively. The bill also pays special attention to cutting waste, fraud, and abuse so taxpayers' hard-earned dollars are used efficiently. I remain committed to taking care of America's Armed Forces and the families that support them, and this bill does just that. I'm proud to support it."
