Previous Next Carter Secures $350,000 For Jarrell Wastewater Project

Washington, May 11, 2006 -  U.S. Representative John Carter (TX-31), a member of the Appropriations Committee, announced that the Committee has approved his request for $350,000 for the Jarrell wastewater treatment facility in the Fiscal Year 2007 Interior and Environment Appropriations bill. This State and Tribal Assistance Grant (STAG) funding will assist with the completion of a wastewater treatment center for the City of Jarrell.

“Improving the city’s critical infrastructure is key to the successful growth of Jarrell. I am pleased to have secured federal funding to assist with this important wastewater project, which will benefit the entire community now and in the future,” Congressman Carter said.
