“I’m very sad to learn of the passing of Sam Johnson, my dear friend. Sam and I went to several Christian retreats together, and he shared his faith with me over the years. Sam always led with courage and integrity. He was truly a great American and a genuinely great guy. I’m sure that our Lord has some fast airplanes and cars in Heaven, because speed was Heaven to Sam. I will miss him dearly.”
