U.S. Representative John Carter announced on Facebook that the Georgetown Palace Theater has been awarded a $10,000 grant.

"I'm pleased that Georgetown Palace Theatre has been awarded the grant, and that money will go towards supporting dancing, acting, and other arts related programming for students of all abilities!" he said.
