Congressman John Carter (TX-31) announced that the Federal Aviation Administration and the Texas Department of Transportation have awarded the City-County Airport in Gatesville with a grant totaling $1,248,830 for pavement and electrical improvements.

“The City-County Airport offers valuable services to people throughout Coryell County. These funds will allow the airport to make desperately needed improvements to the electrical infrastructure and the runways, so that it might continue to safely and effectively serve the aviation community,” Congressman Carter said.
