Carter Congratulates TX31 Student Delegates to the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders

(Washington, DC) – Today, Rep. John R. Carter (R-TX-31) announced six students from Texas District 31 have been accepted to attend the Congress of Future Scientists and Technologists in Lowell, Massachusetts from July 29 to July 1, 2016. The following students have been chosen from Central Texas: Jaleah Heggs, Cedar Park; Kember Campbell, Leander; Patrick Gehlbach, Georgetown; Sean Miller, Round Rock; John Hudec, Temple; Samuel Coleman, Temple.

Today, Rep. John R. Carter (R-TX-31) announced six students from Texas District 31 have been accepted to attend the Congress of Future Scientists and Technologists in Lowell, Massachusetts from July 29 to July 1, 2016.  The following students have been chosen from Central Texas: Jaleah Heggs, Cedar Park; Kember Campbell, Leander; Patrick Gehlbach, Georgetown; Sean Miller, Round Rock; John Hudec, Temple; Samuel Coleman, Temple.

“I commend these outstanding students on their academic achievements, leadership potential, and work ethic,” said Rep. Carter. “The commitment these students have demonstrated towards science and technology will help ensure America leads the world in innovations of the future.”

The Congress of Future Scientists and Technologists is an honors-only program with the purpose of motivating and directing the top aspiring students who would like to become scientists, technologists, and engineers. The students will hear from several notable speakers with background and leadership experience in the areas of science and technology. After the Congress, the Academy will assist students with a strategy to help them reach their goals.
