ncourages Volunteers and Donators to Come and be Recognized Washington, Nov 16, 2005 - This Saturday, November 19, Congressman John R. Carter (TX-31) will travel the district to acknowledge constituents for their efforts in helping victims of Hurricane Katrina and Rita. Congressman Carter encourages all who have reached out to the victims, whether it’s donating clothes, time or money, to attend one of the below events to be recognized. “It is because of the American spirit and dedication to helping their fellows citizens, that our nation can survive the hard times and tragedies.” Carter continued by saying, “It is time we recognize those who have gone out of their way to help the hurricane victims.
