Vietnam Veteran Commemoration

“Help me find eligible Vietnam Era Veterans who reside in my district and so I can honor them with a Commemorative Lapel Pin. If you or someone you know with an address in Congressional District TX 31 are interested in receiving this recognition, please complete my Vietnam War Commemoration Lapel Pin Form and return it to our Belton, TX District Office. This honor can be awarded posthumously and accepted by a family member on the Veteran’s behalf.” Thank you very much for your service!

The United States of America Vietnam Era Commemoration honors all Veterans who served on active duty in the US Armed Forces at any time from November 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975, regardless of location.

Distinction is not made between Veterans who served in-country, in-theater, or who were stations elsewhere during the Vietnam War period. All were called to serve, and none could self-determine where they would serve.

Objectives of the United States of America Vietnam Era Commemoration:

·       thank and honor Vietnam veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice on behalf of the nation.

·       recognize former prisoners of war and families of those still listed as missing  in action.

·       pay tribute to wartime contributions made at home by American citizens.

·       highlight technology science and medical advances made during the war.

·       recognize contributions made by our Allies.
