Congressional Art Contest

*Due to COVID-19, we're going digital! All art will be submitted digitally for judging. See attachments below for instructions.*

Every spring, Congress recognizes talented high school students in each congressional district through a visual art competition.  The Annual Congressional Art Competition is a fantastic way to feature the talent of Texas District 31.

All artwork is due by May 7, 2020 at 5:00 pm CT.

The winning artwork from each Congressional District will be displayed for one year, in the Cannon Office Building tunnel that leads into the U.S. Capitol.  In addition, the winner from Texas District 31 will be awarded two roundtrip airline tickets to Washington, D.C., as well as accommodations for two nights in Washington, D.C.

If you wish to enter the annual Congressional Art Competition please see the attachments below for the art submission checklist, artwork guidelines, a list of important dates, and a student release form.
