2017 Inaguration Information

Every four years, hundreds of thousands of people from across our great nation participate in a great American tradition, the inauguration of the next President of the United States!

If you would like tickets, you must request by calling my Washington, DC office and putting your name on a waiting list. My office has a very limited number of tickets available, and I anticipate we have already reached capacity, therefore place your request for the waiting list as soon as possible. Ticket requests will only be accepted through 5 p.m. Eastern time, December 2, 2016.Any requests made after that deadline will not be considered. Please note, ticket allotment is limited, and making a request is not a guarantee that you will receive tickets.

Tickets to the inauguration ceremony are standing room only and are only for the swearing-in ceremony (not the parade, inaugural balls or any other inaugural related event). My office will distribute the tickets made available on a "first-come, first-served" basis. ONLY residents of Texas 31 will be considered. Due to anticipated demand and the limited number of tickets to the event, each request will be limited to four (4). Tickets to the event are REQUIRED for every person, including children and infants in arms. Finally, do not submit duplicate requests, only one submission is required. Multiple submissions will not improve your chances for tickets and may result in difficulty in fulfilling your request. If you do not receive tickets through my office to the viewing sections on the grounds of the Capitol, there will be large sections of the National Mall that will be accessible to the general public that do not require tickets; typically jumbo viewing screens are set up throughout the National Mall.
