Website Manager/Legislative/Communications Assistant - Florida Republican is seeking an experienced website manager with strong background in new media and managing email lists and databases. Legislative Correspondent – Legislative correspondent (LC) position is available in a conservative office.  The LC will be responsible for organizing, researching, drafting, processing, and responding to constituent correspondences and assisting with other projects.  The qualified individual should be organized and highly motivated with exceptional writing skills, strong research abilities, attention to detail, and experience with Internet Quorum.  Full-time Unpaid Internship - The office of Congressman Gus M. Bilirakis (FL-09) is currently seeking full-time interns for the fall semester of 2009. Responsibilities include conducting tours of the Capitol, answering the telephones, organizing and inputting mail & faxes, drafting letters and aiding legislative staff on special projects. Interns are also given the opportunity to attend hearings and briefings to enhance their experience on Capitol Hill. Additional duties are available and will be assigned according to an intern’s interest and ability.  Successful candidates will be highly motivated and detail oriented conservatives with strong multitasking abilities.  Florida ties are preferred but not required. Spring Internship - The office of Congressman Tom McClintock (R-CA-04) is seeking conservative interns to begin in January 2010 and continue until May 2010 in the Washington, DC office. Position responsibilities include answering phones, sorting and drafting correspondence, giving Capitol tours, researching legislation, data entry, and any other duties as requested by staff members. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, be highly organized and motivated, and possess a positive attitude. This internship is unpaid. College credit, if applicable, will be provided.
